Broomfield Student Council
The role of the Student Council is to make a clear link between classrooms and for there to be a spokesperson from most rooms. The councillors meet once a month (2 - 3 times a term) to discuss new ideas and report back from class discussions. The student council have input into a wide variety of areas, these range from; designing and running whole school events, fundraising for different causes and developing lunchtime programmes.
The purpose of the Council is to create a communication link from the student body. It also exists to enhance leadership capability and provide leadership opportunities for the students involved.
Our awesome student council is made up of two groups.
The Student Executive is made up of Year 8 children. During the 2011 school year the Student Exectutive is made up of;

The three senior classes have a student councillor to represent them. During the 2011 school year the Councillors are;

Miss Heidi Moeller works with our Student Council as part of her role developing student voice.
